The nineteenth issue of Manhajiyat explores the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Education: Strategies and Approaches.” As a highly timely topic, discussions around AI in education are increasingly visible across social media platforms of Arab institutions, with growing interest in workshops, trainings, and conferences on its applications.
The issue includes a range of contributions: an introduction and reflections on AI in education by Nora Mar’i; a roadmap for its use in education by Rabee’ Za’eemiyyeh; a perspective on its role in educational assessment by Mohammad Al-Khaldi; a reimagining of the educator’s role in the age of information flow by Haya Bitar; an article on the importance of augmented reality in education by Mohammad Al-Zoubi; a discussion by Rania Hammoudeh on whether AI presents a challenge or an opportunity; an exploration by Marwan Hassan of the need to link AI use to the development of educational infrastructure; and an analysis by Mohammad Hammour of the role of educational institutions in facilitating the use of AI in classrooms. This is in addition to the magazine’s regular sections, which approach the topic from multiple perspectives.
