About Us
Tarsheed
Tarsheed is an educational institution established by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies, located in Doha, Qatar. It aims to drive positive and sustainable change in educational process by launching and implementing educational initiatives in Qatar and across the Arab world.
Vision
To contribute to creating a positive impact on teaching and learning processes, fostering sustainable learning environments. We also aim to enrich Arabic educational knowledge through the establishment and development of learning initiatives. Our work also includes the design and dissemination of educational resources in Arabic.
Message
Tarsheed seeks to promote sustainable learning environments through a range of projects that address the needs of the learning community in Qatar in particular, and the Arab world in general. The organization focuses on supporting Arab teachers through continuous dialogue and a thorough understanding of their needs, enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of its services.
Tarsheed supports initiatives with a clear mission to integrate best educational practices, viewing educational theory and daily practice as two essential and complementary aspects of effective work. It also provides technical support to initiatives and organizations contributing to the implementation of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Name Tarsheed
The name Tarsheed was chosen for its inherent meanings and concepts, such as guidance, wisdom, maturity, responsibility, and enlightenment—all of which constitute the principles of our work at Tarsheed. Tarsheed was established by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and is headquartered in Doha, Qatar.
