Manhajiyat held its August 2026 webinar, entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Education: Balancing Privacy and Effectiveness,” on Wednesday, 19 August 2026.
The webinar focused on three main themes:
- Developing learners while preserving their identity.
- Instructional design and artificial intelligence.
- Protecting students’ data privacy.
The webinar featured a group of speakers: Dr. Noura Marei, Educational Supervisor and University Professor -Lebanon; Ms. Rania Hamoudeh, Head of the Educational Technology Department at the Ahliyyah and Mutran School -Jordan; Ms. Dalal Hamoudeh, Director of the Arab International Academy -Lusail, Qatar/Palestine; and Mr. Marwan Terzi, Specialist in Education and Development Strategies -Palestine.
The webinar was moderated by Dr. Saida Affouneh, Vice President for Digitalization and Online Learning and Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at An-Najah National University -Palestine.
Dr. Affouneh opened the webinar by introducing Manhajiyat as a periodic online educational magazine aimed at professionals working in the education sector within its broader social context. The magazine regularly publishes enriching and inspiring Arab and international contributions in a variety of formats and media. It also follows developments in the field and encourages dialogue that enriches educational experiences throughout the Arab world, establishing the magazine as a valuable human and knowledge resource for individuals and institutions. She also invited attendees to follow the magazine and contribute to its various sections.
