Manhajiyat held its November 2025 seminar titled:
“The Modern Educational Vision of Inclusive Education: Practices and Challenges”
The seminar focused on several themes:
The characteristics of an inclusive school and classroom.
Practical practices and field experiences.
Challenges and future opportunities for inclusive education.
The seminar hosted the following speakers:
Dr. Rawan Abu Saleh, Learning Support Specialist – International Arab Academy, Qatar / Jordan.
Ms. Samar Haidar, Retired Principal of an inclusive public school, Lebanon.
Ms. Khuloud Al-Salaytah, Support Program Coordinator for Kindergarten–Grade 2 and Mathematics Coordinator for Kindergarten–Grade 2 at Al-Ahliyyah & Al-Mutran School, Jordan.
Nariman Othman, Inclusive Education Consultant, Palestine / Jordan.
Ms. Ahlam Ahmed, Education in Emergencies Officer and National Education Cluster Sub-Coordinator in Yemen at UNICEF, Yemen.
The seminar was moderated by Prof. Dr. Hiyam Al-Taj, Professor of Special Education and former Dean of the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Jordan.
Dr. Hiyam opened the seminar by introducing Manhajiyat, a periodic online educational magazine directed to all professionals working in the educational sector within the community context. The magazine publishes enriching and inspiring Arab and international contributions regularly, in various forms of expression and multimedia formats. It follows current developments in the field and encourages dialogue that enriches educational experiences in the Arab world, aiming to serve as a valuable human and knowledge resource for individuals and institutions. She invited the seminar audience to follow the magazine and participate in its sections.
