The Sheikh Yusuf Bin Issa Book Award announced the longlist for the Education branch in its inaugural cycle (2025-2026), featuring eight books out of 63 nominated works.
Among them, the book Professional Practices for Teachers: Between Theory and Practice by Rola Koubeissy, Aziz Rasmy, and Youssef Amhal-published by Tarsheed Educational Publications-stood out. This selection highlights Tarsheed’s growing contribution to the development of Arabic educational literature and its role in producing robust professional knowledge for teachers and educational practitioners.
The longlist also included seven other titles from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, Kuwait, and Morocco, covering a variety of educational, scientific, and cultural topics.
The announcement marks the beginning of the next stage of judging, leading to the shortlist and the final winner to be revealed at the 2026 award ceremony.
