Full Recording of Manhajiyat Seminar – May 2025: Functional Teaching of Science and Mathematics

Manhajiyat held its May 2025 seminar titled “Functional Teaching of Science and Mathematics.”

The seminar focused on the following topics:

First Topic: Conceptual teaching in mathematics and science education.
Second Topic: Connecting science and mathematics to real-life applications.
Third Topic: Artificial intelligence in teaching science and mathematics.
Fourth Topic: Science and mathematics in a changing world.

The seminar hosted a group of speakers:

Dr. Suhail Hussein Salha, Professor at An-Najah National University, Palestine.

Ms. Lama Shawki Dabbous, Chemistry teacher for the diploma level and Science teacher for the secondary level, Qatar- Lebanon.

Ms. Jana Sabbouh Al-Haj Suleiman, Principal of Sultan Qaboos Private School, Sultanate of Oman-Lebanon.

The seminar was moderated by Dr. Riyam Kafri Abu Laban, Educational Consultant at Al Nayzak Foundation, Palestine.

Dr. Riyam opened the seminar by introducing Manhajiyat, a periodic online educational journal directed to all professionals working in the educational sector within the community context. The magazine publishes enriching and inspiring Arab and international contributions regularly, in various forms of expression and multimedia formats. It follows current developments in the field and encourages dialogue that enriches educational experiences in the Arab world, aiming to serve as a valuable human and knowledge resource for individuals and institutions.
