Establishing an International School

In 2016 the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies –Tarsheed (ACRPS-Tarsheed) founded the Arab International Academy (AIA) to establish an international private school that adheres to the highest regional and international  standards of education.

AIA is distinguished by its unique educational programs which are informed by both regional and international curricula and programs and designed to promote Arab language and culture.  From its inception, regional and international experts were recruited  to participate in planning and operationalizing the school and join its academic staff. To ensure the growth and sustainability of its teaching initiatives, Tarsheed helped AIA adopt the required policies, procedures, and evaluation tools to help monitor, quality control, and develop its academic programs and its administrative support.

As a result of our efforts and the dedication of the AIA team, the academy became an IB continuum school authorized to offer three  International Baccalaureate (IB) programs: Diploma Programme (IBDP) for grades 11 & 12, Middle Years Program (IBMYP) for grades 6-10 and Primary Years Program ( IBPYP) for grades KG-5.
